Jewellery pieces that evoke a feeling, an emotion, a reason.
Tell personal stories through a symbol, an amulet, a treasure.
I enjoy being the accomplice to a surprise, searching for the best way of making a jewellery piece unique for someone in particular.
Do you have an idea you want to transform into a piece of jewellery?
Tell me about your idea and together we can think of the best way to express it. Starting from a drawing, a memory, an anecdote... I only need a starting point to let my imagination get to work.
Are you getting married?
Representing an idea in a piece of jewellery is a wonderful challenge. Energizing a piece with feelings is much more than putting craft into practice. Each union is unique and different, each couple is a world, and I like to reveal that in the wedding bands that I make.
El Carles i la Gina…
Carles and Gina knew that their wedding rings had to be different from the classic gold and half-round wedding bands. They had their preferences: there needed to be a texture and they wanted the rings to express some aspect of their relationship. After a brainstorming session what stood out the most was their passion for excursions and nature. With that as a starting point, and after a few ideas and possibilities of how to combine excursions-nature and transform it into a texture we opted to transform it into a topographic map. A map which spoke about a specific place, about an excursion which was special for them. A map like a private symbol of a memory they could read as an expression of love.
L’Andrea i el Joan…
Andrea and Joan wanted a wedding ring which would be simple, comfortable, thin, and clean. They agreed as far as that, but he wanted yellow gold and a round band, she wanted white gold and square band. Each one defended their position and in the end they asked me to make whatever I wanted. I wanted to respect each one’s wishes, I wanted to capture how similar and yet different they are, that there could be both sides in equal measure. Andrea would be the square white gold band, Joan would be the round yellow gold band. A round band and a square band, they may seem very different, but if they fit into the same space they can be very much the same.
Their wedding rings represent the union of two people equally, who accompany each other, but they can see and remember that they are different.
